After Pulwama, Gunfight breaks out in Anantnag | KNO

Anantnag, May 17 (KNO) : After a nocturnal gunfight in Pulwama, fresh gunfight has started at Dehruna village of South kashmir's Anantnag district. A police officer told KNO that a joint team of army including 19 RR and SOG cordoned off Dehruna area of Pulwama following specific information about the presence of some militants in the area. As such the joint team of forces intensified the searches towards the suspected spot, hiding militants opened fire leading to an encounter, he said When reports last came in, intermittent firing was going on. As per sources two to three militants are believed to be trapped.(KNO)
